About Me
One Inch Squid Studios is really just me, Ellie Miller, an invertebrate enthusiast and expert anthropomorphizer. I was born and raised in Seattle, where I learned to love the diversity of marine life in Puget Sound, and have spent the last two decades in Austin, Texas. I am also a big fan of reptiles, amphibians, bony fishes, cartilaginous fishes, cephalopods, and birds, and mammals are nice too. I create paintings, cards, prints, and embroidered works celebrating and appreciating the often under-appreciated creatures that share the world with us.
